Popular services for pets:

I offer no rush, stress-free pet grooming sessions booking only 1-2 dogs (dogs o cats) a day. Unlike the large chain-store grooming, there are no other animals to irritate and to distract your pet.
Full grooming session includes bathing, blow dry, styling, paw hair trimming, ear and eye cleaning, nail clipping, anal gland expression if needed. Basic charge starts from 60$ for bathing, blow drying and styling. See Pricing page for details(link to price page)
Deshedding is a part of grooming process and is essential for pet’s general health and for the overall pet’s appearance in particular, not to mention that it reducing amounts of hair balls around your house. It also prevents hair matting in your pet.
Why dogs’ hair becomes matted?
For many reasons but more often after bathing you do not follow with the blow drying the fur and not brushing it. As a result your dog dries itself rolling on a carpet, floor, sofa, etc. Starts from 60$, depending on the coat’s condition and dog’s size. Guinea pig grooming is only 40$.
A dog needs a bath At least every two weeks, using a proper shampoo and conditioner to restore the skin Ph after the shampooing. Same as with humans, the cosmetics need to match your pet’s fur type to prevent skin dryness and dandruff. I use the industry-tested pet care supplies but you can bring own shampoo and a conditioner for a grooming visit.
Starting from 40$, ear and eye cleaning are extra, call me to discuss the details
I offer no sedation cleaning for a modest 60$ for the first visit and 75$ all next appointments.
To save your dog’s teeth and to prevent bad breath, start daily brushing when a dog is still a puppy.
Show your dog how you brush yours, then do it for your pet. Still got the tartar and plaque? I accept puppies, senior and anxious dogs and cats. Your pet’s health begins with the good teeth.

Pet Care You Can Do at Home
- Regular pet hair care between your visits to your groomer
- Incidental post skank encounter bathing, aka, de-skanking
As a dog owner and the Greater Vancouver resident, you sure know that skanks are common in both urban and rural areas and, if scared, will spray your pooch with that nasty, hard to get rid off discharge. Thus, a responsible pet owner needs to know how to bath a dog after a such incident. The major concern is contaminating your residence when taking in a smelly pet.
I still remember how long my friends’ house have been stinking after their dog had run inside while carrying on its coat that horrible stench. While deodorising your residence is not my favourite topic, de-skanking your furry family member is what I have to do once in a while. Here we basically have two options: buying the “Wahl Deskunk Shampoo” from a local Walmart or making the de-skunking rinse from the commonly available ingredients.
As a word of caution, I’d advise you to strictly follow the recipe in order not to damage the dog’s skin and coat as it can be quite drying to both. The bathing should be followed with a high-quality moisturizing conditioner for pets. And here comes a simple yet effective pet hair rinse recipe:
1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution
1/4 cup of baking soda.
1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap
Obviously, thinking of volume, bear in mind the size of your dog and the fact you will have to repeat this bathing few times. However, the peroxide is not stable to keep long time.
!!!!! Avoid getting this solution into your pet’s eyes or mouth, use a pet cone to prevent licking it off their haircoat.
Tips:
Where to wash your dog: a laundry sink, shower basin or a bath tub will work. Remove everything that can absorb the dirty water and stench. Change into something you can get rid after.
Do not pre-wash your dog with water! Wash thoroughly with solution and let sit, just like using any human medicated shampoo, about 5 minutes. Use lots of running water to get rid of shampoo itself after all.
Dog Owners Asked:
- It depends, just like with other services, there are up and down times and on a given day I may or may not take your pet in on a short notice. I m only a call away.
- To insure the good oral and health overall, I suggest to have your pet’s teeth be cleaned every 6
months.
- Establishing a trusting relationship with your pet takes a good part of the time required for cleaning.
Bring some treats to make this transition easier. An experienced groomer knows to “read” your pet.
- It’s best that a puppy gets familiar with grooming at early age, eg 3-4 months old, while fear has not built up and bathing or nail clipping are not felt as stress. Make yourself a plan like going for a walk or shopping while your pet is in my care. A pet will get used to your absence and accept that grooming is fan, relaxed procedure. The actual coat trimming can be done at six months, before this brushing is enough. However, teeth, nails, eyes, and ear cleaning are done.
